Ahhhhhh, it was long over due. But the new Red Re-wrap wheel in finally on.:cool
I almost hate to put my hands on it!

Was it just rewrapped in leather or is it an entire new piece. Mines got a bunch of dings in the center and the leathers a little faded. I really want a new one but 1bill is a little steep. How much was it if you dont mind me asking?

The best price I've seen was from The Last Detail for $190.00 + 12.00 for shipping. It's a OE rewrap in Leather and new black painted spokes. It was drop shipped from Corvette America. I have to send my original unit back tomorrow.
They used to offer a knock off wheek for about $130.00 but not any more.
I know a little pricy, but it complements the new leather seat covers I did this time last year.

Has anyone tried to rewrap one themselves? I just bought the leather kit on ebay, and am going to try it myself. It was $29. + shipping. I used to do this kind of thing years ago, aso I did custom car interiors, but I never rewraped a wheel before.

Go figure, after I spend over a duce...theres a kit on e-bay for $29 smakers. Im sure I could have done it myself. Well providing on how good the kit was:eyerole , like if it already had the holes in it and all and not to mention how the color match was.
Mine looks perfect.

I know it wont be perfect, in fact the color will be grey, and my car is silver, but my wheel it totally trashed, and as you mentioned $200 is a lot of mula. I am spending the dough on carpets, seats, and a new set of visors. If it works out ok, cool, if not I'll save my pennies for a matching rewrap. I'll let you know how it turns out, and send a picture if I'm proud of the job.
