Hi, I have been restoring a '64 roadster, former drag racing pieced together POS for almost a year now. It didn't take long to realize I had to take this completely apart and trust nothing. I have just about completed the rolling chassis. Just waiting on the drive shaft.
Upgraded brakes to four wheel disc power brakes, rear mono leaf composite spring, Borgeson power steering box, 350 4-bolt with FITech, Tremec TKO-600 transmission. Hope to have the body finished up next month and bring the two halves back together again.
I'm sure I'll be searching for answers to many questions as the project continues.

Welcome to CAC! :w I believe you have come to the right place for your answers. We have many knowledgeable and helpful people here. I applaud you in your efforts to save this piece of history. So many of these cars were modded for racing and it takes, in many cases, a lot more work to bring them back to street driven versions (even if resto-modded). Pictures.....we want pictures of your progress. :D
