Here are my new wheels and tires. What do you think?

Nice, details, type, size, tires, etc.....:)

They are 18"x8" chrome Coy C-5s with Kumho Exsta ASX 255/45-18" in the rear and 235/40x18" in the front. Even with the manual rack and pinion it steers almost like I've got power steering again. With the same rack and the 15" Firestone Firehawk 500s, parking lots weren't my friend.

I personally like the tires in your avatar pic better. Maybe the rims look too big on the car or the the ride height doesn't seem correct. Or maybe it's the angle of the picture? ;shrug But, looks aside, the way the car sticks to the road should be greatly improved! (That's the only reason I'm going to go to a bigger rim/tire.)
Did the overall circumference of the tire change much? I'm curious how much different your speedo now reads.

I've always liked the color of the car though! :upthumbs

The rear tires are exactly the same diameter as the old ones. No difference on speedo. The fronts are 1 1/2" smaller because with the 255/60-15s I had a small rubbing issue in the front. I couldn't find a tire to match the rear diameter with a slightly smaller section width in the brand I wanted. I'm going to lower the rear an inch or so to make the car level again.

Those are really sharp!! Much nicer than the standard Rally Wheels.

I like the basic design of the wheels and the chrome, but to me the short sidewall tires belong on rice burners and match box toy cars. I just never have liked the bandaid look for tires. Sorry... to each his own.

No offense taken. The handling is so much better I can't believe it! It sticks to the road like glue and the steering effort is cut in half, which is good with manual rack and pinion.:beerArt

I like the OEM wheels as well. Art, I bet that handling is so much better. I upgraded my wheels and tires on my 04 Durango and the handling is twice as better.

Afterthought! If you ever have the front tires feel like they are going to roll off the rims sideways at 95MPH when you're cutting back in your lane after passing someone, the bandaid tires might not look so bad. Scared the **** out of me!! Almost took the steering wheel out of my hands.
