I now know i dont have bose... but are my speakers still amped?!?
i want a aftermarket deck... but if i have an amp they have to rewire the whole thing and i dont want them to mess with that... so anyone know?

A C4 is the easiest car to wire ever built.
Your biggest problem is finding a head unit that is short enough to fit with out cutting the plastic crap behind the dash. Sony, JVC and Fosgate make some units that fit OK but watch out for the connectors. I gave up on the JVC due to the connector sticking out in just the wrong place.
If it takes you more than one rainy afternoon to install a good sound system then you are drinking the wrong Houch.

Is that a home made face plate around your radio? I'd bought a plate/spacer to fill in when I changed to a different radio, I know my biggest problem though was getting to where the actual radio reciever is located at up above/behind the glove box...unless someone's about to tell me there's an easy way to get to it and I really didn't have to feel like an contortionist standing on my head to get to it...doh!

The ¨ CORVETTE ¨ trim piece was engraved by the people that make our trophies. It is just stuck to the back of the original trim with silicone glue.

Why bother removing the radio module? Just unplug it and leave it under the dash.

I like it, looks good...and you've got something on it that's on my "to do" list of little projects...and that's put the antenae on a manual switch.

I may have mislead something...I didn't remove the radio module, it's still there, but when I started I had no idea where it was...finding it to start with was like a search for a needle in a haystack since I didn't know where it was or what it'd look like exactly when I did find it...finally decided I'd found the right thing when I unplugged the antenae cable from it, :L which was the biggest reason for needing to find it, other than wanting to unplug everything else from it.
