Now that the 1.6's are in, will this effect my timing?

I was wondering if switching to the 1.6 roller rocker's, would it allow me play with timing a little bit? (Advance) or, doing the switch from the 1.5's to the 1.6's wouldnt effect or have anything to do with timing at all?
This might seem like a stupid question, but heh!! I'm a stupid guy when it comes to these car's!!

" Punch" those 1.6 rockers will open your valves a littel more and make your moter think it has a bigger cam. on that 91 speed densaty TPI L98. once you set the base timing your ECM takes over and times your engine based on the way you are driving. the roller rockers are a improvement over the stock ones that came on your vette and are what they use on LT4's. like that vette you have...... it sounds jest like mine ?

yes that is a very good book.i have a copy that i read a lot when im modding.puch has borrowed this book before.i dont like to lend it out because its hard to get back.even f-body friend tries to borrow it alot nice ride there also later,Todd,
