Couple weeks ago, I sent to him my old antenna motor, hoping it might be of some help. Postage wasn't but a few bucks, which I'm hoping will never make (or break) me between now and the time I'm 6 feet deep, and doing my Beethoven imitation (DE-composing :D ).

So I didn't ask for anything, since it was disassembled, although working. Today, I got a check from him for not only postage, but a lot more.

We need more like ya' there uh huh! :thumb

How DID you get those springs in there, Houdini??? :confused If I'd known they were for the armature brushes, I'd have threaded them like my old CF headlight sticky showed:

Armature Brush Springs

Wish I had thought of that thread trick! I held the motor in a vice and used toothpicks to hold the brushes back with the springs installed and slowly lowered the armature back into the housing. Took a little time and a lot of patience. Thanks a million!

Always glad to hear about Corvette enthusiasts helping each other out! :thumb
And mbwebb - :welcome !!
