Can anyone tell me something about my engine from some of the numbers stamped on it. It is the original number matching engine from my 73 that has been replaced with a new 454 crate motor. I just picked up my original and was out looking it over and writing down number. I was wondering what they mean.
The heads are both marked 353048. one is marked E22 73-GM6T and the other is E23 73-GM8T?
The manifold is marked 353015?
the block is stamped with my vin number and has numbers on the end 3999289 E25 7. It also has HI PER-PASS-F8 in the back where the fly wheel was?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

P.S. Haven't driven with new one in but it sounds real GOOD. MSD Egnition, Holley Avenger 770, Holley high vol elec fuel pump, Mallory Intake, mild cam and headers ought to make it run pretty Good too!!!!!!
