I have 96 vette coupe, with 68000 mi. it will start to leak oil you can see oil on drain plug. Change oil and stays completely dry underneath car. after driving approx. 2000 mi starts to leak oil again.

Next time you change your oil, I'd try a few turns of plumber's Teflon tape on the threads.

Remove and inspect the drain plug.

If it is the type which has rubber "o-ring" for sealing, replace that ring. Before you reinstall it, inspect the o-ring seal surface on the oil pan. If the surface is damaged, restore it before putting the plug with the new seal in place.

I am not familiar your 96.
If yours looks like the above; restoring isn't possible without a lathe. In face seal applications, the oil ring is usually trapped in a groove. Adding a groove to the fastener is less expensive than to the boss on the oil pan.
The good news is, according to Parker, the basic "off the shelf" O-ring design is rated is for 1500 PSI; so for most common applications (under 1500 PSI) they are extremely forgiving.

If it looks like this:

You can pick one up at NAPA or worse case, a dealer.
