In the last 7 days I have spoken to 3 dealers (including the one where I am ordering my C6 Convertible in Southern California), and they verified the following info that I read in the 2005 Corvette Ordering Workbook:
April 29 is the day when dealers can begin to place orders into the computer
May is when the 1st dealer consensus for July production will take place
June is when prices will be announced
July (probably July 19) will be the start of production of both the Coupe and Convertible!!!
The RPO codes are out, and my C6 convertible precision red w/casmiere interior/oak top 6 speed Z51 w/navigation and 1SB package will be the first order placed by my dealer. Selling price is sticker...no deposit! Hopefully, I will have it in August!
