Anyone that has converted their C3 to a 700r4 overdrive tranny, I bought a Torque Converter Lock-up wiring kit and was wondering if anyone has ever done this job. The kit looks fairly easy to do and the nice thing about it is there is no toggle switch to worry about, this all works off of a new brake switch...from what I understand you install a few new parts, add the wires, and change the brake switch out and away you go. The brake switch apparently "unlocks" the converter when you hit the brakes. It also says that the OD & lock-up should occur around 40-45mph. It works off of a new vacuum solenoid and even gives you the GM part# if you have constant lock/unlock in city traffic.
