PAINT CODE 926A ON TRIM TAG. ON A 63 VERT.....

Most people including myself said it doesn't exist. I saw it today and have not a clue what color it stands for. Has anyone seen this before? The tag seems to be original and untouched. What gives? The car was about 3k in the production run. Yes JohnZ and others it was a post addressed on another board. Hope to have some luck here.I probably won't sleep tonight thinking about this....If this is a misprint on the tag does it hurt the cars value? Mark

Mark, it could be a factory anomaly - they did happen occasionally. If the concern is from an NCRS judging perspective, you might pose the issue to Carlton Colclough ('63 National Team Leader) with a close-up photo of the trim tag. His contact info is on page 3 of the "Restorer" and under the "contacts" button at www.ncrs.org.
