Okay,so the Black Paint on the inside of my rims has faded significantly,
I can't tell what black they are supposed to be,:confused
Flat,semi-gloss,or gloss?????:confused
and I want to repaint them so they will look better!!!:upthumbs:upthumbs
anybody know for sure...thanks!!!

I searched thru the old threads but couldn't find out...

:w Bill,

As I recall they are semi-gloss black.

I painted my with the "Hammered Gray Paint" along with the "Gills" ;shrug
I think they look good :D , I've seen them painted Red and on a Red Car or Silver car I thought they looked good too...

It is a real easy to paint. Rim off car, clean up area to paint, tape off outside of rim with masking tape, and spray, any bleed under the tape is easy to clean off while the paint is fairly fresh.

Many people use Walmart semi-gloss, I use the BMW engine semi-gloss ...
we've had many a discussion about paints too :boogie ;LOL

I used Krylon Semi-Flat black on my wheels. They turned out very well. I used a couple of thin coates first and then three medium coats afterwards. For the rear window trim I used SEM 39143 Trim Black which is a flex paint that is perfect for exterior hot and cold environements. I would of used this on my wheels if I had it at the time.

HI BILL BY LOOKING AT MY RIMS WHICH ARE STILL FACTORY THE PAINT APPEARS TO BE SEMI GLOSS BLACK RON S.

Semi-gloss black it is!!!!

Thank you all!!!:upthumbs:upthumbs
