Okay all us Corsa people love them. The one thing I don't like is the mismatch silver/black inside the tips. I know, keep them clean. But this condition screams fake tip on the outboard side. They flow exhaust, but stay perfectly clean.

I am ready to get the flat back hi-heat and start a sprayin'. Anybody camouflaged their Corsas? Do I keep a rag and Simple Green in my car and apply evry 200 miles? It's starting to bother me.

I don't have corsas, but have done this with other exhaust sytems before... you can use grill paint or other high heat black... I think it looks great like that.

No downside I guess.

nope... I have never had a problem. I like how the black paint takes the depth away, and takes the ugliness of the inside of the pipes away. good luck with whatever you decide to do :)

I don't run Corsas, but for what it's worth, I'm constantly cleaning my tips too. If I ever get tired of doing that, I just may paint mine as well. :L

Well I painted the insides of the tips with hi heat grill paint that is the exact color of exhaust soot. They look way better now from the rear, de-blinged a little.

Would you mind posting a picture? Now that my Corsa's have been on for a couple hundred miles, I can see it becoming bothersome. I wouldn't have thought the soot would accumulate so quickly.

I wouldn't mind at all, but it's easy to visualize the outboard tip looking the same as the inner one. I just blue taped it and cut around the opening with a razor, a piece of newspaper and sprayed it black with flat black grill paint left over from a pot belly stove re-do. I drove 30 miles yesterday, and they look great matched.

This seems trivial, but they really looked wierd one clean one black. I saw some pictures taken of the rear end on the Dragon Run and it stuck out very obviously. And I think you could strip the paint easily if you didn't like it black inside. It looks better now to me. I am picture challenged but will learn how.
