Well after a 2.5 year frame off I finally wrapped up phase 1 with a wheel alignment and inspection today.
What a rush to drive it around, seems the more I drive it the better it feels. maybe everthing is just settling in. This is the first time I have driven it more than 4 miles.
So far everything checks out, no leaks etc, did have one scare while on the hiway saw this huge puff of blue smoke, after a little investigation it turned out to be a blob of grease dropping off the Z bar onto the header
Well for those in the midst of a restoratio, don't despair there is light at the end of the tunnel!
2 years ago....can I get this running again?

Don't mind the stupid grin on my face...I just can't seem to get rid of it!

Phase 2 will be paint and interior starting next winter....for now its time to recharge my batteries and enjoy the ride!!

Congratulations!

Well done Howard, It has to give you a great sense of pride and accomplishment to have finished building you own Vette. Like you said, now it's time to "Enjoy the Ride" PG
