pcv valve

HI, I just recently replace my valve covers and didnt realize untill after that i put the valve cover that the pcv valve goes on the opposite side of the motor does this matter. :confused

It only matters if:

You are going for the factory original look and need everything in the proper place,

or,

You are not able to hook the vacuum line back to the valve. In most cases you can just get a new rubber line that will make the stretch.

Other than than, it does not matter which side of the engine the valve is on as long as it is working.
