performer RPM package

Scooter, did you check out the flo tests for the heads? Looks like the RPM heads outflow vortecs at higher lifts, but have larger combustion chambers. If you like tearing apart engines then go ahead and try them out. run a thinner head gasket to get the compression up. at a current power level around 400 hp, how are you going to know for sure if there is a difference unless you dyno your current setup and the new setup? And of course if you install em and run em you can't sell em for new.

Yo SilverSurfer, did you ever throw on the performer package? That is my plan as well but probably no in the near future since Ive had these side pipes in the garage for like 2 months and havent slapped them on yet (what a bum). Did you get the whole package; cam, heads and intake? Very interested.

I love Edelbrock as well.

Hey Macgyver,
My garage is stocked with RPM heads, RPM cam, true roller timing chain, and a polished performer intake,(actually the chinese copy of the intake, still great quality though). Not on yet. Looking more and more like a winter project.
I'd like to procrastinate if only I could find the time!

While I'm on the subject of upgrades, anyone try the Jeggs polished stainless turbo mufflers? $79 seems reasonable.

Man everyones procrastinating on their Edelbrock packages and no ones put them on yet! Im dying to know how bad they kick ace. Shoot Ive had some real Purdy sidepipes in the garage for months now, out of the box next to the vette like theyre in the process of being fitted, for months! So Im right there witcha. But Im drilling and tapping the holes for the hangers today and might get them all the way on actually.

But if I wasnt going the side pipe route Id either grab the chambered set up or these bad boys >> http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?dept%5Fid=1329&pf%5Fid=A4238&mscssid=PNHFL6XT8RQS9GTFJ76Q8CQETTHD8ED1
Man they look loud as all heck fire. I havent seen those Jeggs before though, sorry.
