I am planning on ordering a 2006 C6 coupe asap. Does anyone know where I can
find a photo of a 2005 C6 with the ( 67U ) silver machine metallic paint and
the optional ( QX1 ) competion grey painted wheels? I am afraid to order the
wheels without seeing them on a car.
Thanks G

garnett, I moved this over to the C6 section, where you may get more views from the c6 people who might have an answer for you.

Machine Silver Metallic is my current color of choice as well. I can't answer your question about the QX1 option but I have seen the standard vs. polished wheels side by side on a dealers lot. I thought the standard wheel looked better as it gave the Silver Vette a more monochrome and thus more serious look. My previous car was a '99 silver Miata with wider aftermarket tires on silver painted wheels. I recieved endless compliments on the look of that car. It handled like a racing kart as well. My current turbo Miata does the same but the extra grunt has given me the HP bug, thus my interest in the C6.

Hope this helps some.

Dear garnett:

Here's a photo I found on another Corvette website (digitalcorvettes). I hope this helps.

That's the color scheme I like. I'm not sure which photo is more beautiful, the Aurora Borealis or the Vette.

Have you decided on an interior color yet? :)

Thanks for the photo. I will probably order the standard wheels, the polished are
dull and expensive, and the grey wheel on a silver car looks like the wheels are covered with brake dust. I'll probably put the $1300.00 in aftermarkets.
Getting anxious to place the order, does anyone know if the 6 speed automatic
is an option, or does it replace the 4 speed offered in 05?
