Requesting some detailed pictures be posted of 1965 / 66 Big Block hood. In particular; closeups of the Stinger showing radiuses, arcs, side trim, and general shape. Thank you.

Ahhhhhh, perfect !!! Thank you so much.
Being unfamiliar with these hoods I didn't realize that 1) the "Tail" contour continues up to the windshield, 2) that the horizonal arc of the "head" of the Stingray is opposite of the windshield arc, and 3) that the center body line, altho sometimes faint, continues the entire length. Very educational for me.
I am sure you have stood there in a trance and stared at this hood (with smile on face)...anything YOU have noticed?
....Oh, and , of course, NICE Corvette !
