Thanks! Yea I like the dove gray and it's great shape other than
the one seal plate that has a broken off piece.... Outside had some
acid rain and I color sanded and polished it all out. The only problem
I now have is the damn acid rain etched the glass and I haven't been
able to get it all out as of yet. I have worked it to death.

I Don't really care for the wheels but I have been told by the
wife to put what ever wheels on it I like.... Pretty sure I have
settled on a set of manta's from Cray with 18x11 on the rear
and 17x9.5 on the front. Not sure on the tires yet but hey I am
still looking..

Like most I never really cared for the C5 "wagon wheels" but they look good on your white C4. :thumb

I never did like those wheels on the C5, too. Made the C5 look slower than they really are! ;LOL

They look cool on yours with the white exterior. :upthumbs

AFTER YOU WASH YOUR VETTE, WOULD YOU PLEASE SAVE THE :w?

Thanks for the compliments!

I really never have understood why they would produce a wheel like that
on a corvette. But do have to admit they kinda grow on ya on the white
vette. I just love chrome.......

You’re welcome, and good luck with the glass.

At least the wheels are easy to change!

1991 ZR-1 #1359

Here's my first post. Bought my first Corvette a couple months ago, happened to be a ZR-1 with a cammed 368 LT5. It has 17k original miles, coil overs, Brembo 6-pot front calipers and 2-piece rotors. Plans are to install a Corsa or B&B cat back this spring (Haven't figured out which one yet) and powder-coat the top end. What color do you think? Torch Red, Competition Yellow, Argent Silver or all Black? I'm leaning towards Yellow. I also picked up a set of 93' ZR-1 wheels (1 year only style) with GS-C tires that I might put on if I sell the Brembos. Last addition will be 95/96 front fender vents and I'll be done for a while....:eyerole

Schol.....

Nice. This was quite a find with the mileage. Arctic white is my favorite color.

Are those the new wheels? What are your plans for the original wheels? I'm looking for some.

I should clarify, I bought the car with the motor and brakes already done. The stock wheels do not fit over the Brembos so the original owner sold them and stuck A-molds on. I haven't exactly decided what I want to do with wheels, but the 93' machined face wheels were a good deal (for one year only, 23k mile wheels.) Since the car is not stock, I didn't feel I needed to get 91/92 painted wheels.

To put the sawblades on, I would sell the Brembos and the A-molds.

CCWs are pretty sweet too ;shrug Just can't decide!

I don't believe I ever heard of these. What do they look like? :confused

They are sawblades, I'm sure you've seen them. 91 and 92 were painted, 93 had the machined face (like all 93-96 sawblade wheels), 94 and 95 had the A-molds. So at least for the 17x11 wheels, 93 was a one year only design. The 17x9.5 made it all the way to 96.

Lots of white ones here...I really have a soft spot in my heart for white...I don't know why...?

So the fact that they are machine faced and 17 x 11 makes them a one year only.

Machine face sawblades 17x9 1/2 were 93 to 96, and painted sawblades 17 x 11 were 91 & 92.

Is that it?
