Have you decided what you want out of it, a driver or show car?
BTW there is a Vette only swap meet in Lima next Sunday.

Craig sr,
Prob. just a driver for now.
Want to keep it all original at this time untill I figure what I want to do yet.

Sorry for the small pics..I think I'm better at cars..

Looks like we are on simular courses, I am just going to fix whats needed on mine and drive it for a while, can't wait until top down season. :upthumbs

Good luck on the project. Having been through a complete restore on a 68, I know how difficult it can be. Be prepaired for some surprises if you've never had a 68 before. It's a great learning experience though.

I've attached a cool poster I had made of my complete project.

I keep saying complete... there is always something to do on these cars even if you are 'complete'! :)

Beautiful original Vette!!! I am curious. Can you give us some details on the Vette? All original, miles, condition, where did you find it and did you get a great deal??? I really love the late sixties, early seventies Vettes. Good luck on your project...

-All original paint "a little rough but original"
-Original interior " looks average, but driver could use resurfacing"
-Original conv.top"had hard top on most of the time"
-Front lower valance needs a little glass work
-Sat inside on a slab for about 20 years, so it had to be drug out to break the calipers loose.
-Varified all matching #s 400hp tripower,4speed,vert.,30,000 miles,2 tops,posi, have original tank sticker.
-Previous owner had it since 73, so I'm the third owner.
-Not sure if I got a good deal, paid $1.00 per mile...Tripowers on steel bumpers are going to be bringing big $$ soon, especially an original paint/interior vert. w/corvette bronze and tobaco int.
-It came the Chicago area.. and it needs alot of work

Thanks for asking..

I'm thinking leave my kid the '68 Vette instead of an inheritance!
