PKE for 1994 convertible

Hi folks, just new to the site. Bought a 1994 convertible this spring and I do not have the PKE remote('s), Two questions. One, did the car come with one or two remotes. Two, are the remotes different for the coupe and the convertible or are they the same.

In 94, the original owner should have received 2 fobs.

If memory serves, the coupe and vert have different fobs - the coupe fob has a hatch button -- the vert fob does not have a hatch, so no need for the extra button.

Either fob will probably work once it is set up.

Now someone can jump in and correct me if need be.

You are correct. You can use a coupe fob with a vert. The hatch button will pop open the conv top lid. Check ebay sometimes you might get luckey. I think a fob from any 93-96 should work when programmed.
