Possible Complete loss of my Corvette...

Good news

Just got back from the shop, WITH my Corvette!!! It's finally fixed and feels great, no sound from rear at all!! All they had to do was replace the wheel stud, the bearings were fine!! It was a little of $100 for the whole shibang, you can't beat that price! Beautiful day out too, man did I miss my baby... shes home and safe again... By the way.. the mechanic said I need new exhaust soon, back y-pipe is all rusted, and hes says probebly can't disconnect it from the mufflers... though I loved the mufflers that are on there, I have no idea what brand they are, neither does he.. but they are duel tips, which looks awsome... but this gets me thinking.. after this coming up October I have no more emission inspections.... SIDE PIPES!! I think she deserves a little something for the trauma shes been in... Thanks everyone for everything they've done for me, Andre and Bud, I owe you guys big time.

Go figure!

Well, whaddya know? Guess what I have sitting in my garage right now????

A complete, ready to bolt up, corvette exhaust from the y-pipe all the way to the muffle tips.

Of course, I can't give them away like I did my spinners, but I bet something could be worked out that's fair for both of us... ????

Let me know if you're interested, because they are about 3 weeks from going up on ebay...
I have pics available.

Congrats on finally getting your baby back! (baby back baby back baby back...sorry, I couldn't help it... :L)

Thanks for the offer, Andre, but go ahead and put them up on ebay. Part of the fun is researching and finding out exactly what I want/need, and that is something I'd like to do. Like I said I may go to side pipes (if legal), and I am most definatly going to buy some LOUD mufflers (thinking about Flowmasters), and since the problem isn't immediate, the parts aren't needed right away. I really do appreciate you keeping me in mind though.

Just wanted to update everyone. We filed a claim with the insurance company, and the owner of the repair shop called up my dad (policy holder) and started yelling and causing all kinds of trouble. Anyways, now they are denying they ever put a wheel on my car, can you believe that? They say no washers were involved, and all the did was replace 1 tire... it's turned into actual lies now. Either way we have reciepts, oh yeah and the actual wheel they replaced so there is no way they can blatently lie like that. Some people are just incredible.
