Jim - when I first looked at this picture I thought 1035 was your dial in time - and I thought "holly molly" Jim's Z is an animal. But subsequent info given to Dwayne allowed me to recover from my state of shock. Still 12:43 @ 113 is outstanding. Nicely done. God I do love drag racingDRTH VTR said:And here it is in the pits

MagikDraggin said:Yes, very nicely done! However, I'm afraid I simply cannot share with your enthusiam over drag racing any more, though.
Don't get me wrong....I used to love it....but the day "bracket racing" was introduced and I was disqualified as the result of some minor tuning I had done on my ride between races, which allowed the car to run better than it had done in the previous race, was the last time I drag raced a vehicle competively.
The "heads up, run what you brung", style of racing in the 60's and early 70's, definitely separated the "wheat from the chaffe", so to speak.
But then again, I am a crotchety old fart to begin with, so there's no 'countin' for my taste anymore. heh, heh, heh.
