Nice shot. I especially like what appears to be a palm tree!

All attachments show up as thumbnails. However, there is a way to edit your post and show the full size version. You just need to click on the thumbnail, copy the URL of the full size version, then edit your post (or create a new one), click the image icon
insertimage.gif
, and paste in that URL that you copied.

Fall in the Deep South, where the Spanish moss turns a lighter shade!!

Vicksburg is beautiful, but I hope y'yall caravaned through Natchez which is absolutely awesome. When you come to the Cruise-In you can drive all the way from Natchez to Nashville, Tenn. on the Natchez Trace....and it will bore you totally out of your mind! Never again.

Oh yes. we shot over to Natchez and got on the Trace there going up to Vicksburg..
Then the return trip to Biloxi, we hopped BACK on the Trace and cruised it all the way back to Natchez.. so we got a Double Dose of Fall leaves!
(and, in 6th gear at 53 mph, I got 38.2 MPG each time!!!!!)

;LOLI get 28 with the cruise set at 75-80 and get home faster ;LOL the best I ever got was 30.5 at 65 coming back from NJ following my Wife and that was mostly downhill in Pennsylvania.

Nice figures - I tend to get 30-33mpg on Interstate travel doing 80 in 6th gear.
I have my foot in it too much to get decent city MPG.

But yea, I was REALLY impressed with that natchez trace MPG - engine was barely having to do anything to maintain that speed.

(boy are we OFF topic or what?) hahaha
;)

There's supposed to be a common topic in a thread? Wow, new information! :L

Amazed at the gas mileage... in the Fall!

Thanks for the picture post tip. Here's the Vette in front of the Astronaut Hall of Fame near the Kennedy Space Center. I was on the way to the Ecklers Fall Corvette Show.

Things I've done or added: Blackwing Air Filter, Borla Exhaust, painted the engine hood liner, Z06 screen vents, silver decals on door sills, steering wheel, passenger side, phantom louvers on tail lights, license frame, aluminum bezels on instrument panel, aluminum shift patern on shifter, custom floor and cargo mats, trunk liner, painted fuel rail covers and other engine components with "Fusion" paint and then added chrome accents to fuel rail covers.

The Ecklers show had a great turn out and has something to see for everyone. It was easy to paint the engine components, and for a heck of a lot less than after-market parts.
