.........................I hear ya.......I'm planning for a C6....If and when it will be a (sunny)weekend driver like my 92 vert......35 000 miles on it so far.I prefer my 00 Infinity QX4 for banging around the city.I don't like my corvette dusty and storage space is a tad larger in the SUV...:L ..................PS up here dealers aren't taking orders yet,you have to get on a "list"....no thanks I'll wait.....maybe a long timeZippy said:Mine will be used for road trips, Corvette shows, club events, but not as a daily driver...I'll save the door dings, rush hour madness, parking lot vandals, etc, for my daily driver...a 2004 GMC Envoy 4x4.

If it's anything like the C5 Z51 package it will be quite comfortable. My neighbor had an '85 with Z51 and it was a harsh, tailbone grinding ride. The Z51 in our hardtop is very comfortable, though I'm not saying you won't feel any of the bumps. But it doesn't jar like the old suspension at all. I believe you will really enjoy the car when you get it.The Prof said:Still, I have one question--will the Z51 suspension be a bit hard on the old tailbone for everyday driving? I live in Northern California, and the roads are pretty good (compared to the midwest), so I'm likely to go for the Z51 package.
