Would someone know the approximate production date-month and day-of a 1970 LT-1 VIN ........10406?

Are you looking for the date of the block or the car?

Production date of car (S410406). The day would probably be to difficult but the probable month would be easier. The year of the car is 1970

The stamping V0409 CTK which would be April 9th LT-1 engine made at the Flint plant.

Look at the trim tag on the forward part of the driversside door opening.Next to the word "chevrolet"There should be a letter then a two digit number.The letter is the month it was built and the number is the date.For example"A15"would be january 15.""D20"would be April 20.Is this what you were looking for.
