I spent another full day in the shop today, mainly sanding and sanding and sanding. :eyerole

Here's yours truly, applying tape to the underhood area.

Tom

When did you decide to go red?
Looks great, just thought you were going Black?

Hey! Quit the painting and start playin' some music. I've had people asking me where the Friday night jukebox, aka "Radio Free Canada", is. :L

Lookin' good Bob! :upthumbs

WOW How excited you must be to be so close to a completion. Now do as I say not as I do

DONT RUSH the assembly.I always get to this position of reassmebly and spent days and nights in the garage putting things together thinking thats good for now Ill fix it latter I just want to get it all together and go for a ride.

And again the flares are the best I have ever seen,If I did not personally know the size of them I would think they were stock wheel wells.I mean talk about a sleeper when those ralleys go on it the average corvette guy is going to be scrathing his head as to how it happened.

Good Luck and it looks GREAT!

Bad photo as there are all sorts of reflections and lighting issues in the booth.

But, here it is in clear-coat. After drying over the weekend, the buff out will be done on Monday.

Tuesday......... body-drop and the trip home.

Since we're storing the chassis in the same building complex, I also got around to installing the newly-fabricated driveshaft and the 5-speed Hurst shifter. Two quarts of 80-90 weight into the Richmond too.

I can't think of anything else to do before body drop.

Just couldn't resist sticking the emblem on to glimpse a hint of what it'll look like, eh Bob? :L

Heaven, the car looks GREAT!! What is the name of the red that you used?
