As I said in a few posts, I just got the car and had some issues that had to be addressed. One of which was the hung healight and air conditioning being hot on one side and cold on the other. My question is, I just pulled the codes and there were like 14 codes. Below are what they were, could some of these be from dis-connecting the battery twice during the headlight motor repair? And if not how or what are the others?
Heres the list:
28- TCS Traction Control System
EBTCM - Internal Malfunction

60- IPC Instrument Panel Cluster
U1160 - Loss of Communication with LDCM

99- HVAC Heater, Ventilation, Air Conditioning
B0361 - Left Actuator Feedback Short to GND
B0363 - Left Actuator Feedback Open
B0367 - Right Actuator Feedback Open

A0- LDCM Left Door Control Module
B2282 - Battery #1 Fault
B2284 - Battery #2 Fault
U1064 - Loss of Communication with BCM

A1- RDCM Right Door Control Module
B2283 - Battery #1 Fault
B2285 - Battery #2 Fault
U1064 - Loss of Communication with BCM

B0- RFA Remote Function Actuation
U1016 - Loss of Communication with PCM
U1064 - Loss of Communication with BMC
U1096 - Loss of Communication with IPC

I don't know how long these codes were in there, nor wether or not I tripped some when I dis-connected the battery. I had to dis-connect it twice. Any help?

You don't have any powertrain (PCM) codes listed, so it was probably just caused by disconnecting the battery. If you haven't cleared the codes yet, check them again and note the suffix - h (history), c (current) or h c (both). For sure, any non-PCM history codes can be cleared and forgotten (as long as you don't have evidence of an intermittent problem in the module).

I haven't cleared them, so I will check them again tonight. But if I'm not mistaken, I remember an *h* behind almost all of them. I will check and post when I get home. Thanks for the info!

None of those codes resulted from disconnecting the battery while replacing the headlight motor unless you disconnected the battery while the key was on.

The existence of so many DTCs related to electrical issues implies that the car has some trouble with wires and connections.

I would clear the codes per the service manual, then road test and see what codes reset.

Also, if you haven't already done so, you need to acquire a copy of the factory service manual. If any of those codes reset, you'll need that book to solve them.

Well, the key was in my pocket the whole time, so i know that couldn't be the problem. I am going to check the codes again for the h, c, or hc whe I get home. Then I will reset the codes, and drive it to work tomorrow (weather permiting). As for the FSM, I ordered a CD copy from someone on another forum, should be here today of tomorrow. Thank you for the information, I will post what my results were after the cleared codes. Thanks again.
