Question about brakes

I have a 1968, and I would like to improve the braking capability of the car.

I have seen the slotted and dimpled rotors, along with high performance pads for sale at summit, vette brakes etc.

Has anyone used aftermarket brake components on there vette?

Is it worth the money? Is there other things I can do to improve the braking capability?

Anything would be helpful.

What has other people done?
