Quickie question that is silly

89 C4 the 4 circle lites come on with brake pedal. None come on when headlights on? Normal to have no back lite? Thanks for any info.

The lites lite up when the brake pedal is pushed. I will check fuses but are these dual bulbs? Can one part of the bulb burn out?

Dual element bulbs they are. And one part can burn out.

Yes.

I'm not much help with anything newer than C3's, but check for a bad fuse related to your taillight circuit. It would be unusual for all four to burn out at the same time.

Ok will do fuses check rite away. Funny how when I bought the car and found a spare fuse in glove box yet everything seemed to work. Bet ya the loose fuse in the glove box is one I need to fix rear lites.
