rad fan question

wich fan comes on first, the pusher fan [front] or the puller fan [behind the rad]? thanks
 
The pusher is your main fan and it should be set from the factory to come on at around 226°F (108°C). The fan on the inside of the radiator is the emergency fan, and should be set from the factory to come on at around 235°F if I remember correctly (I cannot find a referrence to the actual temperature at the moment).

On my '88, my puller comes on with the a/c. I've never looked below the front end to see if the pusher is even working. I think it is though, since I've never had any high coolant temps.
 
Oops, oh yeah, I forgot to mention that it comes on when you turn on the a/c. :eek:
