Rear End Noise

Our 04 is making what sounds like a rubbing noise from the rear when you are making sharp turns. It seems to be worse in left turns. It's almost a notch up from rubbing in the grinding sound direction. had the car up on the lift last week at the dealer and he made sure everything was tight. I couldn't get the noise to happen for him but today I got it several times so I plan to go back. On one hand I'm tempted to drive it till something becomes obvious because it has been documented several times that I'm getting a noise that they can't find.

Lastly,

our brakes have squeaked from day one and now we've got 18K on the car. I'm thinking about turning the rotors and putting diff pads on. It is annoying for a new corvette to do this. This wouldn't be covered under warranty would it?

Hi there,
If the noise from the rear end is only when turning full lock, you may need to have the differential lubricant and friction modifier changed.
If that does NOT repair the condition, then the clutches may need replacing.
As for the brakes, this would be a judgement call by the serving dealership.

Well,

I am also getting a bump when letting off the brake sometimes before depressing the accelarator. The frustrating thing is if I carry it to the dealer without it doing it everytime/all the time...they will scratch their head and send me home. I don't think they will tear into it and replace something based on what I say. I've got a lot of warranty left so I am watching it for a while.
