i just got my 8th vette (2012 GS Roadster) and I love it as much as any other, with the exception of the TERRIBLE wheel hopping/chatter whenever turning either direction or , worse yet, in a circle. have been thru the dealer and local Rep, who assured me it is normal and gave me the service bulletin which basically says live with it. If you have experienced this, you know it is NOT acceptable and I was wondering if anyone has found a solution t o the problem. It feels like you have chained up and are driving on hard dry pavement with logging chains on your tires;these problems have been blamed on the clutch before and the wrong fluids, but now they are saying it is the new wider tires this year. Doing the things described in the bulletin does NOT work at all.
I could reduce the size of the tires but besides looking stupid, would probably adversely affect the handling, so just looking for any experience out there and if anyone has the problem besides me. Any suggestions?
