Rear hatch*LEXAN window*Targa Lexan window)

I am considerig to replace my rear hatch w/ the lexan window.
Anyone used it?
can it be tinted?
how about a lexan targa top?
how much weight savings with both combos?
anyones experience w/ lexan windows can help.

good idea ,have ya done ur top yet ,mines split and 600.00 to 1000.00 is a lot to drop at once?

If you do the targa top in lexan, make sure the frame is reinforced well. The C4 chassis has a reputation for twisting when the roof is removed. The roof adds a lot of rigidity to the chassis. If your lexan top is not properly reinforced to handle the strain of the chassis torquing it, the lexan might crack.

If you decide to do the lexan, be sure to post some pics, I would like to see the end result!

GM Junkie has one stored under his bed .It was either new or close to new.It's been awhile but I think it was a blue tint I could be wrong .I wasn't intreasted because it was for an 84-86 .If your intreasted i'll send you a PM with his contact info.
