Need some help here. I'm installing a new (used) 7-leaf rear spring. (I used to have a 9-leaf but that was a 2 1/2 in wide wich was not correct for the car, and when I installed a new "correct" rear end cover I had to find a 2 1/4 in wide spring).
Anyway, the 7-leaf is much thicker than the 9-leaf, and my new bolts seems to be way to short. On top of the 7 leafs it has a straight plate (see photos) and the height is around 65 mm or 2,5 in, is this correct??
The bolts are around 80 mm or 3,15 in, and after the anchor plate and the washers there will not be many threads left.

You need the longer (3-9/16") bolts - Paragon has them (#6647K). When you install the spring, just snug up the four retaining bolts initially; DO NOT torque them fully until the car is on wheels at normal ride height, or you could break off the rear "ears" on the rear cover.

Thanks. My bolts were from Ecklers and it seems like they only have one size, but I can see now that other vendors have different length bolts.
The bolts were part of a rear suspension package and there were actually other bolts that did not fit at all either. ;shrug
