Rear Wheel Bearing Adjustment/Check Procedure

Hey all...well, I'm battling a long winded braking problem, and finally got out there today to check my runout. I did the fronts, and they were fine...readjusted them, and went to go to the rears. But I'm confused!

I have the 81 Shop Manual, but it's a bit confusing for the rear procedure. The adjustment is mixed in with the whole wheel bearing replacement procedure. So, if anyone could give me some clearer directions, that'd be great!
