rebuilt differential 77 vette

I am going to install rebuilt differential and I also think my rear tranverse spring is bad. How can I diagnose this and are the fiberglass springs worth the money. Should i also buy hardware kit or use hardware in the car now. I have already replaced both rear bering assemblies and half shafts with Van Steel parts.
