Removal of Catalytics

I was wondering if anyone knows of a manufacture that makes a straight pipe w/ O2 sensors, from the stock manifolds to the cat back exhaust for a 95'. I know they have "off road" kits for Camaro's and TA's, but what about Corvettes?

I know there are other ways to do this, hollowed cats, or custom cut cats, but I'd like something that looks nice as well.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info. I'm aware that it is not legal to have a "street legal" car without catalytics. I'm planning on using them when I go to the track. Thay's why I'm interested in something that would be manageable to install and remove in a hour or so.

I've looked for longtube headers, but it seems that it would be too much trouble to design a system with catalytics, if at all.

They make a set up to 91 2.25" outlet.
it's a four piece system, might fit a 95;shrug
check out Mid America page 4-35 looks like 249.99 for aluminized and 299.99 for stainless.
So does anyone know why MA uses the .99 why not just round up or down;shrug

since you have a 6-spd you can use longtubes and Bullet cats mated to your Corsa. you will need custom pipes fromt he resonator to the cats and the cats will connect at the end of the headers, so if you want to have the shop make a set of pipes to coonnect with the cats and without

You will have to have something fabbed up.
This was one of the first things I looked for in vain when I got my Vette. It's hard to believe no one makes a set.
I had a local custom exhuast shop in the area here make me a straight pipe for my Camaro which had special clamps they called V-flanges, which they also put on my cat, that made it possible to get either one on/off the car in about 5 minutes.
My cat was only used for emission testing.

The shop I went to is called Finish Line Performance

They're in Naperville.
They do great work, or atleast used to IMO. I want to say I paid around $100-$150 for them to V-flange my 3" cat, make the striaght pipe (3" stainless) w/ V-Flanges. It was well worth it. I'm sure for our setup with the dual cats and the way they are situated it would probably cost a bit more to have something made but I'm sure they would do it.
My guess is though you'll get better performance out of a set of long tube headers w/ the hiflow cats, like Jeff suggested.
good luck

Thanks for your replies.

I'd love to do the headers this year, but I've already spent too much cash and I'm buying a place soon. I'm gonna check out that place in Naperville as you suggested. $150 is within my range for the rest of the year.

BTW... We've got a lot of people going out for opening day at Route 66 Raceway in Joilet on April 5th if you are interested. We got 3-4 Vettes, 2-3 TA WS6's, and a few imports so far.

Jim,
Like I said that was a totally different setup on my Camaro and this was a few years back, I have noticed on thier website the price of those v-clamps has gone up a bit. My thinking is you would be VERY lucky to get what you need for around $200.
At any rate it's definetly worth looking into.
good luck.
Let me know what you find out.
