Removal/Refurbishment of Center Gage Plate

I thought about fixing the clock but thought that to be like all the other C3's I would just leave it broken, PC

I've never seen the gauge console line up perfectly all around it on any 76. Mine does'nt either. Anyway am finishing up replacing all my guages with Norskog digital this weekend. I have all the old guages left over is someone needs them.. They look darn good. The clock works, but is not accurate after a week from reset. Also now have a good lens left over. I'll take any reasonable offer for the parts. Oh yeah, the clock spot ws replaced with air/fuel guage.

Hey 73 vetteman that was a great link, I read it all printed it and the went out to look at some wires to help Joe out. It was real quite in the gargare as I was tring to find the right wires and then I noticed this tick, tock, tick, tock and could not figure out where it was coming from, then I noticed that WOW my clock was working away, just the movement of taking out the gage plate must have got it started again. Not sure how long it will last but it was great to see it working just like that. PC

Well, I got it all back together and it looks much better, I discover the only problem with my clock was the power wire was loose, tightened it up and the clock is still going strong. It was strange becasue the clock started at exactly the same time it had been left at for over a year, how strange. Thanks for all the input from everyone that clock repair info is great. Thanks PC
