replacing body to frame bushings question

This has been ask before I know but if I was to replace the body to frame bushings and bolts can I do this 1 at a time and go around the car or do I have to lift the complete body to do any of them. Thanks

It's unlikely that you can lift the body enough just to change one. Loosening them all and lifting one side of the body at a time is much easier.

Keep the shim stacks together and reinstall them exactly as removed.

yes keep the shims together,and you can do 1 at a time,use lots of penetrating oil,you might break off a couple and then you will have to lift the body up a few inches to get the left over stud out of the nut,.the nut is loosely welded inside a metal cage attached to the frame,so the nut does float around in the cage about an eight inch or so.but this was on a 68 i had to replace
