Replacing turn signal assembly in a 1970 with Tilt&Tele.

The right side turn signal does not shut off. Left side is fine. Has anyone taken apart a steering column with Tilt & Tele to fix this? I am guessing it's the turn signal assembly. Do I need special tools to take the column apart? I have only gone as far as the horn assembly so far to clean the horn contacts.

I took mine apart using the Hanes Manual as a guide all went well. Some loozer broke my stering lock trying to steal my Vette thank god for my secret switch there gona need a tow truck to steal my Vette
