I do not have an index for a owners manual thus don't know how to reset the oil change indicator-thanks JJ

reset oil change

Simply scroll through until you have the display showing percentage oil life remaining. Press and hold the reset button on the DIC until it resets. You may have a "broken line " showing where there was a reading but once you exit and return it will show 100%. Good Luck!

Turn key to on position and engine not running, pump gas pedal 5 or more times and the oil life moniter should reset.

I'll have to try that. Didn't know that was an option!

For those who bought their C5 as previously owned and the owner couldn't provide the Owner's Manual, check out these links:

CAC | Tech Center

CAC | Tech Center | Model Center

On the individual model center pages, you can find a link to the Owner's Manual, in PDF form, I believe.

JEJ: here's the Model Center for the 2001 MY: click

The Owner's Manual link is about midway down that page.
