reverse lights

My reverse lights are staying on anyone have any suggestions? Is there an adj. on this switch all the parts seem to be there.

Is the linkage from the shifter to the switch connected, and moving the switch to the 'off' position?

yep

the linkage is there and connected I haven't had time to jack it up ,but was wanting some ideas when time allows. thanks for input

The back up switch provides a ground to the back up light circuit. The wire that leads to it may be shorted to ground someplace else?
