Race driver Robby Gordon stands with the new HUMMER H3 race truck that he will drive in the brutal Dakar Rally, widely considered to be the most grueling off-road race in the world. Gordon will also drive the HUMMER H3 in the 2006 Baja 1000 and Baja 500 desert races. Robby Gordon, NASCAR driver and off-road champion, will pilot this HUMMER H3 prototype in the Dakar Rally, a 5,600-mile race from Lisbon, Portugal to Dakar, Senegal, beginning Dec. 31, 2005. The race truck was designed and constructed at Team Gordon's Anaheim, Calif. racing facility.
