Rodent Protection

I use the fabric static cling towels you use in the dryer. In the trunk, interior and all through the engine compartment, had mice in the garage where I used to keep the 62 but never a trace of a mouse in or near it.

I've been using these for Years Too!! Never had a Problem!! Spiders and Snakes don't Like them either!!! There ain't nothing funny bout a Copperhead or Corral Snake crawling from under the seat or out of the Dash while your driving down the Interstate at 70 mph!!!! It makes you do this,

I have an 84 with a manual tranny. When I had a mouse problem I was looking for where they came in to stop it once and for all. After much investigating I determined they were comming in around the shifter. I removed the plastic around the shifter, filled the area with steel wool left over from a painting project gone horribly wrong and problem solved. Mice do not like to chew on steel wool and it is fexible enough to move around when I shift and still stay in place. They could be comming in from other places, but on my car that was the spot.

I cannot keep mice out. I have to tear my car apart for the third time in 500 miles. Really sucks.

Make peace with the neighborhood stray cat(s). I have and have never had a mouse problem with any of my cars.

:L just make sure that you don't have any sand in the car

Where there are mice, there is food.

Bird seed, fertilizer, old pop bottles....get rid of the food source if you can.
