i have a rubbing noise comming out of the rear of my 73, it sounds like a tire rubbing against the fender wall, nothing is rubbing that i can see, when i go 10mph i do not hear it,when i go over 15mph you can hear it,the faster i go the more you hear this rubbing,it's a very blunt sound. what could it be.

Tom:
Make sure your diff has plenty of grease. Check for e-brakes binding ... rear caliper sticking ... u-joints ... rear wheel bearings (hope not). Too-much-wider-than-stock tires may also rub on e-brake cable/bracket on trailing arm ... probably not that ... as tires tend to get skinnier but taller with speed.
