General Motors’ Town of Tonawanda engine plant will get some national exposure on an episode of the Science Channel TV program “How It’s Made,” at 10 p.m. this Thursday.
A film crew visited the plant several months ago to film an LT1 Chevrolet Corvette engine being built. The crew then spent the next four days at a GM assembly plant in Bowling Green, Ky., filming a Corvette being built with the engine from Tonawanda.
