How easy is it to remove the seats in my 78 Vette"??, and any helpful suggestions would be gratly appreciated!!

As long as things aren't rusty, it's simple.
Move it rearward all the way.
Peel up the carpet tabs that are glued over the front bolts.
Unbolt the two front bolts.
Move the seat all the way forward and remove the two rear bolts.
Lift it out of the Vette.

4 bolts and out it comes. Spray some penatrating oil from underneath to help.

Yeah, it's super simple. 4 bolts per seat. I think they are 1/2". Soak 'em from the bottom with penetrating oil and dribble a little on top around the base of the bolt head. And get yourself a long extension or two. Getting the ratchet above the rear deck makes it much easier than working with the movement between seat and back deck.

The driver side is just a wee bit harder to physically remove from the car because of the steering wheel.
