As of this post here are the results of the Shark Generation Count... Top 3 from both generations:

1968~1972

1. 1971 = 7 Votes
2. 1972 = 6 Votes
3. 1969 & 1970 = 5 Votes each

1974~1982

1. 1981 = 20 Votes
2. 1979 = 13 Votes
3. 1974 = 9 Votes

The 1968~1973 had 29 total votes and 365 Views.
The 1974~1982 had 72 total votes and 727 Views.

The polls are still open and the official recount has been tabulated as of this post anyway :J
