Thanks for the offer, but I have one of those too. As soon as the engine is running and transmission problems corrected, I'll start looking at the wiring.

New developments! Put an inline fuel pressure gauge last night and found that the pressure was 8 psi. Also, no pressure until the engine is running, which tells me that the fuel pump is mechanical not electrical like I was told.
When the engine starts, it runs normally for about 1-1.5 minutes then starts missing badly. While the engine was running, I checked the carb, I noticed that fuel is dripping from from the primarys at a fairly rapid rate. It's been a long time since I had the need to look down the throat of a carburator while the engine was running. Does this sound normal to you?
Any way, I bought a new 600 CFM Holley and will try it out this weekend. I hope this is the problem.
